Confetti the wedding services supplier has gone bust with the loss of jobs for 48 of the 94 staff. It has closed all 5 of its stores in Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham, Reading and London. Administrators are seeking a buyer for the online element of the business.
As reported by the Daily Mail's Katherine Faulkner, Confetti's failure has left some 1100 orders to be fulfilled, leaving brides-to-be worrying if their orders will be honoured or not. The average value of these orders is £45, Confetti had a wedding insurance partner in Acumus, however as this policy has a £50 excess, she suggests that couples with this wedding insurance policy may be left out of pocket.
Dreamsaver Wedding Insurance covers the financial failure of suppliers and has no excesses on any part of the policy. For more information Click Here
