What is included on a Dreamsaver Beach Wedding Insurance policy?

Dreamsaver’s Beach Wedding Abroad Insurance will protect both the Wedding Ceremony and Wedding Reception taking place overseas so long as the two events are taking place no more than 94 days apart. Similarly, if you decide to have just the Ceremony overseas and the Reception back in the UK you will still be covered as long as the two events are no more than 94 days apart.

Please note ‐ you will only be able to take out a Dreamsaver Wedding Insurance for your beach wedding if at least one of the Marrying Couple is a resident of the UK.

But what if your plans for your wedding consist of having a beach wedding reception and ceremony abroad, and other wedding celebration events overseas or back in the UK? Our Dreamsaver Beach Wedding Insurance policy can now insure weddings up to 6 events provided they all take place within a period of no more than 94 days.

Please note ‐ In respect of your Wedding Abroad, if you have to cancel due to adverse weather, cover is only available if the booked arrival date is at least 5 days before the wedding.

Do I need anything specific in order to get married abroad?

Something else to bear in mind is that you will need certain documents with you if you are a British National getting married Overseas. Wherever you go to get married, you will need to check the local marriage laws and you will require a Certificate of No Impediment (CNI) from your local register office to prove you are legally allowed to get married. A CNI will cost you £35, and you will also have to give notice of your intent to marry at this time.
