2) Dorfold Hall – Cheshire
Not only is this another exceptional, award winning venue nestled in the Cheshire countryside, but it is also available for exclusive use. A restored 17th century stately home, Dorfold Hall has all the character and grandeur you might be looking for on your big day.
Host up to 160 guests for your ceremony and reception and with bedrooms and cottages for up to 22 guests on site, there’s plenty of room for friends and family to stay.
The private estate at Dorfold is licenced to hold civil ceremonies, meaning you are able to get married anywhere on site, whether that’s the coach house, or on the lawns with views of the countryside – the choice is yours. If you are after the traditional church wedding, there are several churches not far from Dorfold in which you could hold your wedding.
One thing you won’t find when booking Dorfold is set wedding packages, this is so they can truly tailor your wedding day to you and your needs. This is definitely one to have a look at for your big day!
3) Doxford Barns – Northumberland
If you are looking for an incredibly scenic venue, then Doxford Barns could be the one for you. From the rustic barns to the beautiful grounds Doxford Barns has a lot to offer any couple!
Whilst you can get married in the beautiful barns on site, you can also get married in one of their outdoor wedding spots, potentially down by the lake, on the front lawn, or by the corn fields, each providing a unique setting for your special day.

An intimate wedding venue situated in 20 acres of countryside between the Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire borders, South Farm has a lot to offer couples on their special day.
South Farm offers 5 different licenced ceremony options and have converted the rustic barns and farmhouse into truly wonderful spaces for you to enjoy. Prefer the outdoors? Then the gardens will be perfect for you, offering year round colour and interest you and your guests will love this space.
The drawing room is perfect for a small ceremony with a capacity of up to 35, whilst the summer house is ideal for outdoor weddings and can hold up to 146 guests. Moving back inside, the Old Dairy can hold up to 100 guests and the horse barn can hold up to 65 guests. The Tudor Barn is ideal for larger weddings as it can hold up to 180 guests for the ceremony and up to 146 for the Wedding Breakfast!
South Farm offers multiple solutions for a variety of ceremonies whilst also offering plenty of onsite accommodation for friends and family of the Marrying Couple.
