A stipulation to be aware of with regards to the wedding insurance cancellation cover, in respect of adverse weather, is that in order for it to be valid during your nuptials for your overseas wedding, you must have arrived in the destination of your wedding 5 days prior to the ceremony taking place

We would also suggest that you take your wedding dress on to the plane with you as hand luggage. By doing this, you will be better able to look after your dress and can ensure it is not damaged during baggage handling or in the hold during the flight. Hopefully, by taking it with you as hand luggage you can also prevent your dress from getting lost and can ensure that it arrives safely with you at your destination.
