How Do I Choose the Right Insurance for My Wedding?
When selecting a wedding insurance policy, it’s important to consider the total cost of your wedding, rather than focusing solely on the price of the policy. Your policy should provide enough cancellation cover to protect your full wedding expenses if something unexpected occurs.
For example:
- If you select our Dreamsaver Gold policy with £20,000 of Cancellation Cover, but your wedding costs £25,000, the maximum amount you could claim would be £20,000.
- This means leaving you £5,000 short of covering your total wedding costs, even if your claim is successful.

Optional Extras
We also offer a range of optional extras to enhance cover on Dreamsaver policy. These enhancements provide additional financial protection and peace of mind, available for an extra premium.
Our optional extra include:
- Optional Public Liability Cover for Wedding Guests – extends the couple's public liability cover to include their wedding guests
- Optional £5 Million Public Liability Extension Cover – increase wedding public liability coverage for the couple to £5 million. If the Option to include Public Liability for the Guests has also been selected, then wedding guests will also be covered up to the £5 million
- Optional Wedding Marquee Cover – ensure your wedding marquee and its contents are protected against damage or loss
- Optional Ceremonial Sword Cover – coverage for the use or hire of ceremonial swords, adding flair to your big day.
- Optional Coronavirus (COVID-19) Cancellation Cover – protection for cancellations due to COVID-19-related disruptions.
